5 out of 5 stars Great Buy   September 9, 2010

This is a great replacement for your OEM lug wrench. There are some people complaining about the case, but okay...really? It's probably staying in your trunk 90% of the time so who cares if it comes in a vinyl bag? There are also some people complaining about the sockets that come with it. The sockets are clearly labeled with the sizes, and they are the typical standard sizes for most lugnuts (mine being a 13/16). If you're not intelligent enough to a) use the proper socket size for the proper lug or b) ensure a snug fit before turning the wrench to ensure you don't round something off...then you really shouldn't need this product and just buy a AAA membership. Otherwise, this is a great product, great for using on OEM lugs or Gorilla lugs with key, and offers a lot more torque than your standard OEM wrench.

5 out of 5 stars works as advertised   August 21, 2010

When I wanted to replace the winter wheel/tires on the car with a summer wheel/tire combination, I found out that the lug nuts on my car were ridiculously over-tightened by the car shop, and the wrench that came with the car did not budge a single one. This telescoping-handled gorilla wrench did the job on all four wheels, and when done, went into a compact bag, now permanently in the trunk. Highly recommended.

4 out of 5 stars Good product for the price   July 14, 2010

Package came as expected. I bought it for my Jeep since the tire iron that came with the Jeep has long since been lost. I have oversize tires and rims so it is just not quite long enough to reach the lug nuts. It uses a standard 1/2" drive though, so with an extender it works great.

My only complaint is that when the handle is telescoped out, the locking mechanism doesn't really work. Only knocking off one star because its still ridiculously cheap and easy to store in the Jeep.

5 out of 5 stars Heavy duty, great wrench   June 16, 2010

I used this wrench to remove the wheels on my boat trailer. It is very solidly built. One thing I particularly liked was after I broke the lug nut free I could then retract the handle so it could spin the nut off without interference from the ground as I turned it 360 degrees. There are four sizes of sockets, two each back-to-back in one single socket. I'm able to keep this in my SUV and remove the original equipment lug wrench from the car. That way I have one wrench taking up space and adding weight to the car but it fits both the SUV and the boat trailer. At full extension it provides a lot of leverage for tight lug nuts, and it still feels solid. I expect this to last for a very long time. I highly recommend this wrench.
