I bought this small inverter as a Gold Box deal to use when camping or on road trips. I've used it to charge my phone through the USB port, to plug in the AC adapter for my kids' Nintendo DS, and to charge the battery on my digital camera (through the AC charger).

The good: It works. It's small, has a nice feel to it, and has a long enough 12v cord to allow it to be placed on the center console of my truck.

The bad: It gets very warm sometimes, almost to the point of being uncomfortable to touch. I haven't determined if it only gets hot on the current draw for the AC, or only from the USB, or both. Sometimes it seems to run hotter, and other times it doesn't.

I would have given it 5 stars except it makes me a little nervous that it gets so warm. Otherwise, it's a nice little device to keep around, and was actually cheaper than a 12v charger for my phone. I always unplug it when not in use.

The Roadpro Inverter was great on the road. I was able to charge everything but the ipod Touch. For some reason, it would not charge it through the USB port. I have not tried with the AC adapter.

It is a relatively compact unit with a long enough cord that made the inverter convenient to use. We keep it in the car at all times and can use it pretty universally with our electronic gear.

So far I have used it on:
PSP
Cell phones (different models using the AC plug)

Notebook computer.

iPod classic

I purchased it through a lightening deal and am VERY HAPPY with my purchase. I would buy another if I could get the same price.

So far I've only used the USB port on this device to power my phone. The device does seem to work, but it also gets very hot (and also made my phone's battery rather hot). It smells like burning plastic while operating, which is probably not something you want to be breathing ever, let alone in the confined space of a car. I'm concerned about using the device for long periods of time and would also be concerned about how it performs when drawing AC power.

I purchased this product as a Gold Box deal and I haven't been disappointed. These days the average person carries lots of products that need charging such as cellphones and computers.
