Fuel Level Gauge August 10, 2010 Mike (Roswell, GA) Works just fine. I had to leave in the old level sending unit because the new sending unit didn't fit the existing hold in the fuel tank. the needle bounces around a lot which i attribute to using the old sending unit.
No more guessing... July 28, 2010 Chris D (PA) Nice cheap accurate gauge for auto or fresh water marine use. I used it with an inexpensive Sunpro sending unit for my boat and the final results where better than expected. No more guessing my fuel level!
Marine, but not rust resistant July 1, 2010 C. Adams (Pensacola FL. USA) The Gage seems to work well. The components were all ferrous steel including the nuts which I replaced with brass ones. They should have spent a little more and made components weatherproof in a marine environment.
Good Gage Good Price June 25, 2010 D. Scherzinger (Arizona) I hooked this up as a replacement for an old, tired gage in my boat. Works perfectly and looks sharp! Worked fine with sending unit already in tank too!
Sunpro CP8219 Fuel Gauge November 22, 2009 Fitz R. Wharwood (Trinidad & Tobago, West Indies.) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had purchased the Fuel Level sender CP7583 beforehand. Then I installed it and the CP8219 at the same time.
At the turn of the ignition switch to 'on' the CP8219 functioned perfectly (which proves I did everything
right).
But if the dial were 2.5ins I would have rated it 5 stars instead.
