Product Description Plug holes and make permanent repairs under water and in gas tanks -- while theyre still leaking! Drinking water safe. Surfaces do no t need to be clean and dry for application. WATERWELD will plug or seal practically anything that leaks. It will patch holes and cracks, and mend almost anything that is broken. It is excellent for rebuilding or fabricating parts, and as an all-purpose adhesive for metals, wood, fiberglass, masonry, ceramics, and many plastics. Permanently repair holes, gouges, cuts ... even seals rot in fiberglass and wood. Cures under water. Safe for use on lines carrying potable water. We should really call this amazing product "The Miracle Welder," because you can use it to plug holes and make permanent repairs under water and in gas tanks -- while theyre still leaking. No exaggeration -- this is the best epoxy putty you can use.

Good but... June 8, 2010 Paul Patterson I used this product to repair a cracked plastic in-ground pool skimmer housing. I drained the pool so that I could prepare the surfaces. I applied the epoxy material in a dry environment and let it cure for 12 hours then refilled the pool. I just wish that it was a little more "sticky" ( and slightly more viscous). However, the repair has held up to chlorinated pool water for little over 6 months so far .
Nice little find June 6, 2010 Erik J. Mccullough (Austin, TX) I found this stuff, never heard of it.
Seemed like what I needed, and worked exactly as it seemed. I don't think Amazon might be the best place to buy this for most, but it was available on Prime, and I don't think I could find this on my own in your typical hardware store.
You open the package, and using a knife, you cut off from the tube what you need. The chemicals are in two separate parts, and activate when kneaded together. After kneading it into the silly putty like substance, you have about 10 minutes to work with it. After that it will harden up to the point where you'd need a chisel. But when applied to the right area, it plugged a leak in our RV just perfectly.
It was amazing to me May 15, 2010 Joseph T. Adinolf (Ojai, CA) My garage side door was so screwed up in the area where the lock is mounted that although I am usually pretty handy, I was stumped when it came to replacing all of the damaged wood in the door. I called my handyman for ideas and he left and came back with Water Weld which I didn't even know existed.
Plugged the large hole with Water Weld, replaced the hardware, re drilled the necessary holes and mounted the hardware.
I was really impressed and bought my own supply from Amazon.
Very satisfied.
fast, cheap and rock solid April 19, 2010 Allison M. Perkel (Boston) I used this stuff to plug a few leaks in my de-humidifier downstairs. Wow, super easy to use (I am not handy and even I could cut off what I needed, kneed it till it all was the same color, and apply). So easy and so strong - this quickly plugged the leak and it's been running great ever since.
If you need to plug a leak, get this product. If you need to make sure a pipe fits without issue, I would use this product for that too. It's exactly what it says it is and that is a very awesome product.
Super strong April 2, 2010 B.Jones (Tampa Bay, FL) I bought this item to glue some badges that had fallen off onto a car. It has a gray color & feels like sticky clay and doesn't run (not a liquid). It sets fairly quick, within 30 minutes. Be careful to wipe any residue with a wet cloth quickly.
Once it hardens, it is rock solid and won't budge. It air hardens into a light yellow color. It has survived snow and torrential rainfall and the badges are still stuck on tight. Way stronger than other super glues I've used.
